The main difference between man and animal is speech and consciousness. These two God-given abilities not only gave man the status of Ashraf-ul-Makhluqat but also introduced him to the mysteries and secrets of the universe that could take him to the heights of spiritual development. Knowledge of the hidden factors of life is the name of knowledge. There are two basic branches of knowledge, inner sciences and external sciences. Esoteric sciences have been related to the inner world of man and the civilization and refinement of this world.
Apart from the Holy Prophets, the efforts made by the Godly Saints, the Sufis and Saints, and the thoughtful poets to beautify and refine the inner being of man are all different links in the same chain. The external sciences are related to the external world of man and its formation and construction. History and philosophy, politics and economics, society and science etc. are such fields of knowledge. The word has played a fundamental role in the protection and promotion of the sciences whether they are internal or external. Be it the spoken word or the written word, it has been the most effective means of transferring knowledge from one generation to another.
The written word is older than the spoken word. Therefore, man invented the art of writing, and when the art of printing was invented, the life of the word and its circle of influence increased even more.
Books are a store of words and the source of various sciences and arts. The main objective of the National Council for the Promotion of Urdu Language is to publish good poetry in Urdu and to make it available to the lovers of literature at minimum cost. Urdu is once known, spoken and read language in the whole country but its understanding, speaking and reading has now spread all over the world.
The Council’s effort is to prepare good textbooks and extra-curricular books in each of these languages, which are equally popular among the people and the elite, and publish them in the best possible way.
To achieve this objective, the Council has devoted its attention to the publication of books on various subjects as well as in criticism and translations of standard books in other languages. It is a matter of satisfaction for us that the development of Urdu Bureau and after its formation the National Council for the Promotion of Urdu Language, which have been published in Kata, have been well received by the Urdu readers.
The Council has started a series of books of fundamental importance under a comprehensive programme, this book is a link in the series which it is hoped will fill a critical academic need.
I would also request the scholars that if they find anything wrong in the book, write to us so that the remaining error can be removed in the publication.

Compilation With the name of the beloved father of the late and beloved Haziq-ul-Hikama, Mr. Syed Muhammad Riazuddin Hussain Sahib alias Hakeem Ahsan Sahib, I dedicate the acquisition of the art of medicine due to your artistic talent, but it was born in my heart and it was you. Due to the effect of prayers, the difficult stages of this art became easy due to my influence.
Father Qibla not only kept Fan medicine in his family in Jalali district Aligarh, but also planted four moons in it with Sa’i Baligh and breathed a new spirit with his glory and wisdom. He compiled and recorded the experiences that he gained in all his life in a thick book and named this book as Riyaz-ul-Adawiya. Along with the knowledge of medicine, he was also well versed in chemistry and was an expert in killing all metals and the captive psyche, and this knowledge he acquired regularly from Allama Muhammad Ibrahim Ali Khan Sahib Ruhi (Physician Special in the state of Tonk, Rajasthan). Your library also has a rare collection of science and chemistry. His research work was in progress when he suffered a stroke and he died of this disease in Anhu and was buried in Pish Madar Darwaza Gurhi Jalali, which is his ancestral cemetery.
